The Enforcement Directorate and the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad carried out joint raids in Padgha, Thane district, on Thursday as part of an investigation into suspected terror funding. Officials said searches began in the early hours in the Bhiwandi region, focusing on residences linked to individuals under surveillance.
The action follows earlier ATS operations in Borivali village in Padgha. Multiple homes were searched as ED teams probed suspicious financial transactions, with ATS personnel providing support.
